Position Description
We are recruiting an Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist (temporary, 12 months) to join our talent acquisition team and help us attract and hire the best talent for our entry-level positions. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring candidates for various roles across our business areas, such as Engineering, Marketing, HR, IT, and administration roles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct the end-to-end recruitment process for external early careers vacancies within a designated business unit, ensuring timely turnaround times that create a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
2. Source and identify qualified candidates for early careers roles using various channels, including the use of social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean searching), internal referrals, and on-site campus events.
3. Screen and assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for the company culture and values.
4. Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates and provide feedback to hiring managers.
5. Manage the candidate pipeline and ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
6. Work closely with HR Business Partners, the wider recruitment team, and the business to build strong relationships and to deliver a seamless recruitment service.
7. Compile regular Talent Acquisition status reports for the business.
8. Input as required to Talent Acquisition projects.
9. Acquire and apply knowledge of ESB business and its HR processes, policies, and procedures.
10. Engage in networking activities to develop and build strong business relations in the industry.
11. Keep updated with market trends affecting recruitment and current employment legislation and policies.
Experience & Qualifications
1. 3 years experience in a similar recruitment role, preferably in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
2. Experience in recruiting for early careers roles, such as internships, graduate programs, and apprenticeships.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to build and develop key relationships with managers and other stakeholders.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
6. Proficient in using various recruitment tools and platforms, such as applicant tracking systems and video interviewing software.
7. Full life cycle recruitment experience essential.
8. Knowledge of HR practice, policies, and procedures and employment legislation.
9. An appropriate third-level qualification in HR or equivalent work experience.
10. Knowledge and experience of using psychometric testing in recruitment.
11. Knowledge of the use of social media to recruit.
12. Experience in dealing with Work Permit processes and international recruitment.
13. Membership of CIPD, while not essential, is desirable.

Fitzwilliam 27, ESB’s Head Office, Dublin in line with ESB's Smart Working arrangements.
