Assistant Store Manager
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our client's thriving convenience store in Offaly. As a pivotal member of the management team, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the store
* Manage and assist a team of staff members
* Achieve sales targets as agreed with management
* Maintain a strong gross profit margin
* Lead by example and mentor staff members to achieve success
* Utilize merchandising skills to upsell and promote products
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably within the grocery sector
* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
