ESG Administrator/Officer
We are seeking an ESG administrator to join our team in the construction industry with operations across Ireland and commercial property development and management in Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Role Scope:
* Develop and maintain the overall sustainability strategy aligned with our Group Strategy.
* Assist with implementing key sustainability projects, including HPI / EU Taxonomy / BREEAM / LEED assessments on projects.
* Compile and analyze data related to sustainability activities, preparing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders showcasing our social and environmental impact.
* Prepare necessary reports for ESG formal reporting requirements.
* Communicate changes in regulatory and customer requirements within the business.
* Collaborate with various departments to integrate ESG initiatives.
* Work cross-functionally to ensure our products and services align with our business strategy and long-term targets and objectives.
* Attend Sustainability Working Group meetings and coordinate through meeting organization, action tracking, and follow-up.
* Manage relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
* Help manage resource allocation in accordance with our ESG goals.
* Oversee document control for the ESG team, ensuring all documentation is organized, recorded, and managed in accordance with project and company policies.
* Work closely with stakeholders to track relevant KPI results and update logs & formal documentation as required.
* Develop core sustainability awareness messages.
* Work with marketing and communications teams to effectively communicate sustainability achievements, reinforcing our positive image and reputation.
* Maintain and contribute to internal and external Sustainability content across the intranet, website, and various communications channels.
* Process multiple work streams & workflows of documents daily.
* Research and recommend innovative technologies, strategies, and initiatives contributing to sustainable practices, keeping us at the forefront of ESG stewardship.
Key Experience and Skills:
* A degree in Sustainability or equivalent, ensuring a good knowledge of Sustainability, ESG, and CSR topics.
* Minimum 2 years experience working in ESG/Sustainability.
* Strong administration experience.
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills with experience in coordinating projects.
* The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work to deadlines.
* Demonstrable experience of flexibility and adaptability.
* The ability to supervise projects and work effectively as part of a wider team, identifying key issues and proposing solutions in a timely manner.
* Excellent IT skills with the ability to collate and analyze data utilizing IT systems and build suitable reports for the results.
Nice to have:
* Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) Administration/Coordinator.
