About this role
The Airline Partnership Manager role at Atlas focuses on managing and growing relationships with airline partners in the EMEA. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new partners, nurturing existing relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, strategic thinking abilities, and a deep understanding of the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver Atlas’ EMEA airline content strategy focusing on low-cost carriers (LCCs) to drive segment growth through airline partnerships in line with Atlas’ strategic goals.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership plan aimed at increasing airline incentives, maximizing transaction values and ancillary adoption, and enhancing service offerings for both airlines and Atlas.
* Lead strategic solutions by identifying the needs and possible tech solutions to the airline to portray Atlas superior technology capabilities.
* Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand partnerships with new airlines and strengthen existing relationships, aligning with Atlas’ long-term growth strategy.
* Negotiate strategic agreements with LCCs, ensuring alignment with Atlas’ financial objectives while fostering long-term, value-driven relationships.
* Collaborate on campaign design and implementation, creating impactful sales and marketing initiatives in coordination with Atlas’ Growth team and airline partners, aimed at boosting engagement and segment performance.
* Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), such as segment growth and incentive achievements.
* Contribute to Atlas’ overall air content strategy, advising senior leadership on regional opportunities, risks, and competitive positioning in the EMEA low-cost carrier market.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory developments in the European aviation landscape, identifying potential challenges and proactive solutions to maintain Atlas’ competitive edge.

* Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the LCC market in the EMEA region, including industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies.
* Multilingual proficiency: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills, such as Spanish, Portuguese, or other European languages, are advantageous.
* Proven track record of revenue growth: Demonstrated success in driving segment growth, securing incentives, and managing high-value partnerships, particularly within the EMEA region.
Key Qualifications & Experiences
The ideal candidate for the Airline Partnership Manager role should have a minimum of a year of experience in key account management, preferably in the airline or travel industry. They should demonstrate a successful track record in driving revenue growth and managing high-value partnerships. Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights, are essential. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required, with additional language proficiency being advantageous.
