This is a crucial role at a very exciting time for Kia and for the right candidate while we begin a new era of Mobility, Electrification, Connectivity and Autonomous driving. Reporting to the General Manager of Business Planning & Product our approach is a collaborative one, which requires teamwork but allows you take ownership of many projects and tasks. This role is for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual, who can manage many different tasks, with the ability to prioritise them and meet differing time-sensitive deadlines. Your Responsibilities The Business Planning and Product Assistant Manager supports the General Manager of Business Planning and Product in developing and executing strategic plans for Kia Ireland. This role involves analysing market trends, coordinating product development, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The position is crucial for driving growth and innovation within Kia. Planning and Managing Corporate Strategy Establishing and reviewing Kia Ireland annual corporate strategic direction and managing goals. Developing strategies in product to respond to future automotive industry and market changes. Operating supply chain planning meetings to enhance strategy execution and report to the management. Analysing Market Trend and Developing New Strategy Identifying automotive and future new business opportunities through analysis of market and industry-specific management environments, and derivation of our business direction Analysing and monitoring internal and external automotive industries, and deriving insights based on benchmarking of other companies for application to Kia Ireland product plan. Supporting Securing Core Competencies Reviewing and adjusting mid-term strategies and directions for completing vehicle supply chain. Evaluating model product/Pricing competitiveness. Assessing supply chain management. Analysing report on current issues for supporting senior management decision making. Ability to actively perform troubleshooting, including analysing and handling issues when they occur. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, is preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in business planning, product management, or a related role in the automotive industry. Experience in strategic planning / product strategy and Supply Chain Management at global companies or large corporations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
