Working in partnership with our client, a leading provider of specialist engineering and technical services, Hartley People Recruitment are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals.
2. Identify and engage potential candidates through multiple sourcing methods.
3. Review applications, conduct phone screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
4. Assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit through in-depth interviews.
5. Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring clear communication and a positive candidate experience.
6. Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions.
7. Maintain accurate recruitment records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
8. Build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline through strategic sourcing initiatives.
9. Represent the company at industry events and job fairs to strengthen employer branding.
10. Advise hiring managers on best practices for interviews and selection processes.
11. Keep up to date with industry trends and market conditions to refine talent acquisition strategies.
Key Requirements:
1. 3+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, within construction or a related industry essential.
2. Ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously.
3. Strong understanding of recruitment practices and employment regulations.
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
5. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technology.
6. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
7. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
8. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
