REGIONAL SERVICES MANAGER –
Western Region, Tullamore, Athlone, Roscommon and neighbouring counties

Role Purpose
To be a member of the senior management team, to manage a range of designated centres & services in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and within available resources, to develop and manage stakeholder relationships, and to advise on current and new service opportunities.
Principal duties & responsibilities
Senior Management Team Member
* Manage all key working relationships including Centre PIC’s, Multidisciplinary supports, HIQA, HSE & Tusla.
* Oversee governance in Designated Centre’s including compliance and work force planning.
* To actively contribute to the strategic management of the organisation.
* To propose and support strategic management projects and developments.
* Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations and applicable legislation.
* Champion the quality agenda by conducting continuous programme of audit and quality improvement plans.
* Action and implement action plans that arise from external and internal inspection.
* Ensure designated centres are in adherence to their statement of purpose.
* Review and update statement of purposes as required.
Services Management
* To deliver safe, high-quality services and care for Service Owners, in line with Lotus Care values.
* To manage a team of designated centre Managers to ensure service delivery.
* To monitor and review the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of services provided in line with relevant standards.
* To enhance service delivery at every opportunity.
* To investigate and review complaints and service issues as appropriate.
* To oversee and develop any new services or elements of services as agreed.
* Complete regulatory service audits and quality improvement reports on a monthly, 6 monthly and annual basis as per legislation.
* Ensure all training is carried out as per training matrix and all mandatory training is completed.
Compliance & Quality Management
* To ensure services are compliant with all applicable legal, health & safety, regulatory and accreditation standards and requirements.
* To participate in developing policies, procedures and practices designed to deliver consistent, compliant services across assigned services.
* To lead implementation of, and adherence to, all external and internal standards, policies and procedures.
* To address any shortfalls identified in service provision or compliance.
* To drive continuous improvement of services.
Resources Management
* To contribute to the overall resources management within the organisation.
* To determine, in consultation with Finance, appropriate budget provision for assigned services.
* To manage assigned services within budgetary provision, delivering budgetary efficiencies where possible.
* To work with HR to recruit, train and develop human resources to perform efficiently and effectively, in line with all applicable laws and regulations.
* To develop talent and to address under performance as appropriate.
Stakeholder Management
* To develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders: Service owners, families, funding organisations, regulatory organisations, staff and Lotus Care Board of Directors.
* In conjunction with DOS, ADT, MDT and finance team to follow up and manage the referrals process to ensure appropriate placements of service owners within Lotus Care designated centres.
* Where stakeholder issues arise, to address and resolve in a professional and proactive way.
Other Responsibilities
* To undertake any other duties as requested by the DOS from time to time.
Role Requirements
* Degree/Masters Qualification in Intellectual Disability Nursing or Social Care, or equivalent experience.
* Management Qualification is desirable.
* Experience (ideally three years) in a management role in the sector or in a related sector.

* Specialist knowledge and expertise of Intellectual Disability sector.

Remuneration
Salary: Competitive – Dependant on Qualifications & Experience
As per contract.
