Essential Functions:
* In liaison with the Company Managers, define, implement and evaluate a learning and development strategy, which supports a learning oriented culture.
* By ensuring investment in best practice and in line with the business objectives, all Securitas employees will be developed to maximize their potential.
* Providing accurate, current data, analysis and reports on training needs analysis and assist with the evaluation.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Program Development and Delivery:
* Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs tailored to meet company and legal requirements.
* Ensure training aligns with the Private Security Authority (PSA) 28:2013 standard and other relevant regulations.
* Develop materials, schedules, and resources for effective training delivery.
Compliance and Certification Management:
* Maintain accurate staff training and certification records to ensure compliance with PSA regulations.
* Liaise with the Private Security Authority and other regulatory bodies to stay updated on legal requirements.
* Monitor and report on staff compliance to senior management.
Coordination and Administration:
* Schedule and coordinate internal and external training sessions for security personnel.
* Collaborate with external training providers to deliver specialised courses.
* Manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
Performance Evaluation and Improvement:
* Conduct post-training evaluations to measure effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
* Support individual staff development plans by identifying gaps and recommending additional training.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Work closely with managers, supervisors, and HR to identify training needs.
* Act as the main point of contact for training-related queries.
Qualifications And Experience:Essential:
* A relevant qualification in training and development, education, or a related field (e.g., QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer).
* Knowledge of PSA 28:2013 and other applicable Irish security and employment laws.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a training coordination or similar role, ideally within the security industry.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, including experience with training record management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working with regulatory bodies like the PSA or other statutory agencies.
Desirable:
* Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to the security industry.
* Full Drivers Licence essential.
