Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Inventory Planning Administrator to create and assign profiles for all new products due into the business. This role is responsible for supporting on new inbound stock allocations, monitoring profiles for existing products, issuing stock movements to stores, and ensuring accurate reporting.
As Inventory Planning Administrator you report to the Inventory Planning Manager and support the Inventory Planning Co-Ordinator. You will also work closely with the Buying, Merchandise & Store teams to maintain optimal stock levels and distribution, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in either Buying, Merchandising or Supply Chain.
Role Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for all pre-allocation set up of new products, ensuring the correct store ranging, and allocation quantities per store to support and maximise sales and margin.
* Ensure all inbound is pre-allocated before it arrives to streamline warehouse operations and ensure timely distribution.
* Issue inventory movements to stores, to ensure the correct product is in the correct location to maximise sell thru.
* Update inventory profiles to reflect sales trends.
* Assign inbound flags (e.g., Fast Track, Carton Quantity) to prioritise stock processing.
* Monitor pick pools to ensure efficient order fulfilment and allocation.
* Generate and analyse recall progress reports to track stores return compliance.
* Update stock holding groups to facilitate proper categorisation and allocation of inventory.
* Collaborate with the Merchandise team to establish and maintain consistent size break ratios for effective stock distribution.
* System maintenance of profile codes and profile updates.
About you:
* Experience in retail or a similar administrative role is preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail and natural desire to implement improvement to ways of working.
* Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel preferred.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
* Problem-solving mindset with an initiative-taking approach to inventory challenges.
