Title: Senior Ticket Desk Agent
Reporting to: Terminal Services Manager
Role: To perform the main tasks outlined in a professional and courteous manner, focusing on delivering the highest standard of customer service.

Job Functions:
* To generate accurate and timely ticket sales reports according to established procedures.
* To control the cash flow accurately, ensuring the secure lodgement and banking of cash and cheques and recording same.
* To deal with telephone enquiries from passengers, service partners, Customer Airlines and travel agents.
* Ensuring the ticket desk is clean, tidy and presentable at all times and that promotional material is on display and available where appropriate.
* Ensuring all outstanding documentation i.e. AF vouchers, refunds etc are all processed and up to date.
* To ensure all co-mail is sent on specified days.
* Regular monitoring of all ticketing queues.
* Regular stock takes.
* Ensuring coverage of shifts in the event of staff shortages for reasons such as illness, training or annual leave.
* To regularly monitor the quality of ticketing activities and sales reporting, and the correction of any errors found.
* Other duties will be assigned from time to time.
* Monitoring of the different PDQ Machines for the different airlines.
* Fully Amadeus trained.
* Familiar with Outlook and timely respond to email query internal and external.
* Follow up on INAD paperwork with the Airlines Partner when rebooking INAD.
* Familiar with Microsoft Excel Spread sheet.
* Filling of Sales reporting.
* Monitoring the SHP Credit Card reporting on a daily basis.
* For the monthly reporting, to liaise with some of our Airline’s partners in a timely manner.
* Assisting with roster when needed.
Key Performance Indicators:
* A minimum of 1 year ticket desk experience is required to apply for this role.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Good organisation and Interpersonal Skills.
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work rostered shifts and to be flexible with roster changes etc.
* Previous reservations or ticketing skills essential.
Contract: These positions will be permanent role with a probation period of 6 months.
Hours: You will be contracted to a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. You may be required to work additional hours when the operation requires it or in the event of aircraft delays / operational disruptions.
Shift Work: Interested candidates will be required to work a range of shift duties in a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation. Shift length can vary between 4 and 10 hours and will include early starts and late finishes.
