Job Title: Financial Controller

The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing strategic financial insights to drive executive decision-making and business growth. This includes corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee accounting operations across multiple sites, including Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

* Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
">
* Prepare and deliver timely, accurate monthly financial statements.
">
* Address technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
">
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
">
* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting to maintain accuracy and transparency.

* Provide executive leadership with comprehensive financial data and analysis to guide strategic planning and policy development.
">
* Monitor budget trends, identify variances, and present findings to senior leadership.
">
* Develop, implement, and enhance internal control systems and accounting policies.

* Collaborate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and support.

* Manage tax preparation duties or coordinate with external tax advisors as needed.

* Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required to meet organisational goals.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role.

* Minimum of 5 years' combined experience in accounting and finance.

* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory compliance.

* Expertise in preparing financial statements and managing the month-end/year-end close process.

* Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

* Outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
