Job Overview
Our client, based in North Cork who manufactures and distributes materials globally is looking for a dedicated and hard-working Junior content creator and social media assistant to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to utilise their experience in a wide range of content-driven marketing activities (some examples: newsletters, website articles, etc.), website SEO and landing pages, email marketing with Salesforce CRM, social media, photography, videography and online advertising.
Main duties:
* Research appropriate subjects/topics to generate ideas for content that will drive customer engagement to meet business goals. Stay informed on social media trends to create engaging and relevant content.
* Develop and create visually appealing content to use in marketing campaigns, e.g., newsletters, blogs, emails, social media, ad copy, website content, etc.
* Shoot and edit video content (including reels) for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
* Visit site locations.
* Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.
* Support overall improvement in website performance by creating SEO optimised content to improve keyword ranking and quality score.
* Track and evaluate content performance using tools such as Google Analytics and LinkedIn Adverts. SEO and keyword generation. Adjust content strategy based on performance.
* Understand the company to produce content with a strong lead generation focus. Work closely with teams to ensure consistent messaging across all brands.
* Identify issues for our users and communicate how our products resolve these challenges.
Requirements:
* A third level qualification, ideally in Marketing or related field would be a distinct advantage.
* Experience producing high-quality creative content for digital channels.
* Experience or knowledge of the videography and photography (Adobe suite).
* Social media management: Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Full driving licence is required, as the role involves travel to various locations.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and platforms.
* Creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, well-organised and able to work independently to meet deadlines with the ability to produce high-quality work.
