Job DescriptionSGS Gas are seeking a driven and detail-oriented M&E Estimator to join our dynamic team.
This supportive role will work between our sales and operations departments, contributing to the quality and integrity of our instrumentation and gas testing customer quotes and contracts.
The specialist will prepare detailed cost breakdowns of technical projects for management review and finalise comprehensive quotes based on this information.
Quotes will be for projects mainly in Ireland, UK, Germany, and Italy.What You'll DoDevelop working knowledge of instrumentation and gas testing servicesPrepare detailed project cost breakdowns.Prepare professional & self-explanatory customer bids.Generate sales performance reports and pipeline analysesOn occasion participate in project site surveys throughout the UK, Ireland and EuropeCollaborate with project teams on quote development and new project implementationCoordinate with global affiliates to leverage our network's expertiseAssist with CRM adoption across the sales team while maintaining accurate dataSupport the integration of our sales pipeline into the SGS GAS CRM system (Salesforce)Adhere to our SGS Responsible Sales and Marketing Policy and Code of IntegrityQualificationsWhat You'll BringQuantity Surveying experience desirable - helpful for project cost development and material/labour estimationsExperience in sales administration, proposal development, or related fieldFamiliarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce (preferred)Good communication skills, both written and verbalAttention to detail and strong organisational abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience working in a technical or engineering environmentAdditional InformationWhat Makes You Stand OutTechnical background in instrumentation, gas testing, or related fieldExperience with project costing softwareKnowledge of CRM systemsExperience building client relationshipsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageCareer development opportunities within a global organisationCollaborative and supportive work environmentTraining and development opportunitiesChance to contribute to a growing business areaJoin our team and help support our business through effective proposal development.
