MSL Motor Group is a family-owned business which has been in operation since 1959. We are a sister company of Motor Distributors Limited, the exclusive importer and distributor of BYD in Ireland. We wish to recruit a Vehicle Progressor for our location in BYD Cork which is located in Eastgate Business Park, Little Island, Co. Cork.
As a Vehicle Progressor, you will be responsible for overseeing the progress of new and used cars from initial acquisition to ultimate sale. This is a key role in ensuring a highly efficient, timely and cost-effective vehicle delivery process and an excellent customer experience both on the web and physically on the premises.

Key Duties & Responsibilities To Include:
* Arrange and oversee the preparation of all new and used stock.
* Carry out a full appraisal on all vehicles as soon as they are in stock using our internal systems.
* Receive all new and used vehicles from outside suppliers and transport companies, ensuring that relevant delivery documentation and spare keys are present.
* Liaise with numerous internal departments daily: Sales, Service, Parts, Bodyshop, Valet, and Management.
* Market stock online using photos/videos; training provided.
* Support your colleagues to ensure our vehicles are ready for handovers and delivery.
* Monitor and control showroom and display areas.
* Ensure quality of all vehicles meets MSL standards before placing on the forecourt.
* Monitor any outstanding issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Inspect vehicles before handover to ensure they meet and exceed customer expectations.
* Perform any other ad-hoc duties that may be asked of management to help us work as one business e.g., NCTs, delivery of vehicles, collections from customers, etc.
The Successful Candidate Will Ideally:
* Have motor trade experience, preferably with a service background.
* Have a full, clean driver's licence.
* Possess excellent planning, organisational, and co-ordination skills.
* Be efficient, with good attention to detail and follow-up.
* Work well as part of a team.
* Be an effective communicator.
* Have strong IT and administrative skills.
* Be flexible in your approach to work.
