Job Title: Regional Director of Care (Children Residential)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Director of Operations to join our leading provider of Childrens Residential Services. As a key member of our senior management team, you will provide strategic clinical leadership and operational management, working closely with the Group Chief Executive Officer and the Senior Management Team.
Background
The service operates 9 residential houses in Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, and Cavan, providing support to between 1 and 6 young people across dual occupancy, mainstream, or displaced settings. The purpose of this role is to lead the Childrens Residential mainstream service, providing 24/7 care to children in care referred by Tusla.
Main Responsibilities
* Take leadership responsibility for the management of the Childrens Residential services, including day-to-day care provision, strategic development, and expansion.
* Oversee all aspects of care, including therapeutic supports within an agreed model of care.
* E nsure quality service provision, compliance with regulatory inspections, and development of a quality management system.
* Implement the company-wide people management strategy, promoting staff recruitment and retention.
* Provide robust financial stewardship, ensuring optimisation of revenue and prudent cost management.
* Represent the service with key stakeholders, such as Tusla placement teams and regulatory groups.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
* A Social Care or equivalent primary degree to honours level, meeting CORU registration criteria.
* A minimum of four years experience, at least senior management level, in a childrens residential service.
* Proactive and independent, with strong follow-up skills.
* Experience working with Tusla National Placement teams and building positive relationships with stakeholders.
