We have joined forces with a prestigious brand and global player in the market. Our client designs, produces, distributes and sells high-end jewels, watches, perfumes and accessories through a large network of owned stores in the most exclusive shopping areas in the world and selected distributors and thousands of exclusive perfumeries. Within their Worldwide Logistic and Supply Chain Centre based in Dublin, Ireland, they are looking for a Local Distribution Planner EMEAI. You will play a pivotal role in supporting JWA activities across EMAI DOS and BP clients. This role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with Customer Service, Merchandisers, Inventory Planners, Sales Managers, Warehouses and Central Distribution Planning, to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Accountabilities
1. Collaborate daily with CS to optimize product availability and manage allocation requests, maximizing sales opportunities and minimizing customer dissatisfaction, ensuring efficient and responsive service to clients.
2. Manage and communicate the distribution implications of store openings, pop-ups, seasonal store initiatives (openings/closures), ensuring seamless transitions and optimal inventory levels, as well as local rebalancing supervision and buyback coordination.
3. Lead monthly calls with Local markets and Customer Service, to gather market insights and provide updates on the current distribution landscape, ensuring alignment with local needs and proactive identification of potential challenges. As well as, providing monthly potential revenue projections for each BP area/customer, supporting informed sales planning and central allocation.
4. Conduct in-depth data analysis using various tools (Excel, SAP ECC/S4, Power BI) to generate reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses that inform decision-making and guide distribution strategy.
5. Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, including Local Distribution Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory team, Central Merchandising, Central Marketing, Logistics teams and Channel Management, ensure alignment of plans and proactive information sharing.
7. Monitor the automated replenishment creation process in SAP, ensuring system accuracy and preventing potential disruptions to the replenishment cycle.
Qualifications / Professional Capabilities
1. 2 years’ experience in Distribution Planning, Customer Service or similar role, preferably within the luxury goods or watch industry.
2. Strong understanding of Supply Chain management principles, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
3. Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel, SAP ECC/S4, MS Office Suite, and particularly Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
4. Negotiation skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders effectively.
5. Fluent in English, proficiency in a second European language is a plus.
