Position at Logitech The Logitech Ireland Services is seeking an experienced R&D Grant Manager to join a cross-functional team tasked to scale up and accelerate R, D & I activity in areas such as Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Material Science, Design, Sustainability, Supply Chain and ITYou will be an integral part of the Task force to understand and utilise the many funding and collaboration options to best suit Logitech's corporate strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in funding and research in academia and preferable in areas of direct contact and collaboration with Industry.
A background in Engineering or Data is an advantage.

As a key member of Cork Site leadership strategy, you will be responsible for building the network with academia and understandings that will make the funding landscape work for Logitech You will directly contribute to innovation and technology programs to enable Logitech Cork to become a strategic driver in corporate Logitech's Innovation strategy.
Job description:
Understand and define what funding models work best for Logitech Corks needs as well as how we should engage.
Deep understanding of timing and timelines which are required to ensure funding and collaboration models that are relevant or suited to Logitech's needs/ambitions.
High Level overview of what fits and what are the call deadlines + requirements etcParticipate in building a user centric Innovation Strategy and roadmap across multiple functions/groupsBuild an Innovation brand for Logitech CorkCoordinate & write submissions for grant and collaboration applicationsManage awards - Including draw down and milestone deliverablesCollaborate with leadership in prioritising and managing balanced R,D&I portfolio (small, medium and large projects/risks)Resilience in failure rate as well as risk reductionBuild the relevant network across Universities, potential industry partners and funding bodiesOpportunity to work with best in business and academiaManage discussions with research partners as well as Logitech legal on intellectual property rights and licences etcManage communication with all project stakeholders, including Gov/EU officials, consortium partners, and internal teams.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
For consideration, please bring the following minimum skills and behaviours:6-8 years experience in managing and sourcing funding and collaboration in academic or industry environmentTrack record in post doctoral research/collaboration with IndustryExperience in managing and coordinating EU-funded (funded) projects, with a strong understanding of EU (local, independent or gov funded) directives and funding mechanisms.
Highly skilled in project managementUser centric innovation mindsetStrong Communication skills with experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary teamsAlso good at interacting with senior team and managementAble to speak up and ownStrong Presentation skillsA passion for user centric Innovation and sustainability is an advantageExperience in data/digital asset management
EDUCATION:
