The title of the role is Field Sales and Business Development Representative representing Shelton Distributors Ltd.
The function of the role is to service a well-established customer base with an emphasis on business development and customer relationship engagement in the West of Ireland.
Role Responsibilities:
•Service existing customers, and develop existing and new business within the Retail, Wholesale, and Food Service sectors.
•Meet and exceed agreed company targets through brand building and range selling
•Sales Order Processing via Company Tablet
•As a member of the Sales Team, you will action pre-determined Journey Plans, and work with and report directly to the Sales Manager
Skills and Requirements:
•Ability to drive new sales, and identify cross-sell / up-sell opportunities through adaptable and effective presentations
•To deal with all customer queries professionally and swiftly
•To understand the customer's needs and service their requirements appropriately
•To be self-motivated and self-directed with a growth mindset both personally and professionally
•This role requires flexibility through adaptable work practices in the assigned territory, the use of relevant technology, and the launching of new products
•Routinely evaluate and be commercially aware of the competitive landscape while informing management of current and latest trends
•Ability to work independently and as a pro-active member of an experienced and professional sales team
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Full clean driving licence with minimum 2 x years' experience
