Turner Lovell is partnering with a highly successful transformer and substation OEM to source a Production Supervisor to join their team in County Cavan, Ireland. This long-standing business has positioned themselves as a leading power solutions provider, with a growing focus on the renewable energy sector.
This is a key role in the business, managing and overseeing daily operations in the manufacturing facility to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will be responsible for managing the workflow, coordinating team members, and achieving production targets; playing your part to maximise production up-time while maintaining product quality and staff safety.
Your responsibilities will include:
Team Management - supervising production staff, resource planning, and performance evaluations.
Production Oversight - proactively monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and specifications.
Safety and Compliance - enforcing safety regulations and protocols, conducting spot checks and compliance reviews.
Inventory and Equipment Management - Collaborating with Supply Chain to avoid shortages, managing the availability of materials, machinery, etc.
You should have relevant experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; a degree or certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies will be seen as a plus. You will receive an attractive salary reflective of your experience.
