Our client, a global engineering organisation, is looking to hire a Treasury Analyst to join their team. This role is based in their offices in Dublin 2. It is a hybrid role, working 3 days from the office and from home for 2 days.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure adherence to routines and controls set by Group Treasury Control at all times.
2. Provide FX and liquidity management services to group companies.
3. Assist in global cash positioning and forecasting within the IHB pooling structures, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet obligations as they arise.
4. Execute FX transactions for monthly intercompany netting exposures.
5. Collaborate with regional treasury teams to optimize liquidity management for local market subsidiaries.
6. Facilitate the effective execution of external currency and interest rate transactions, short-term funding, and deposits.
7. Monitor financial risks and update the Financial Risk Management Committee (FRMC) on developments related to FX, counterparty risk, and interest rate exposures.
8. Execute and report tasks related to the employee stock option program.
9. Ensure efficient cash pool structures are in place.
10. Drive the centralization of group cash, with a focus on addressing restricted or trapped cash.
11. Maintain strong relationships with core banking partners.
12. Support the management team and Group Treasurer with ad hoc tasks and projects.
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of experience as a Treasury Analyst in a similar environment.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
3. Treasury certification or qualification is preferred.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
5. Proactive attitude and a drive to thrive in a dynamic, internationally focused environment with an emphasis on teamwork.
6. Proficiency in trading and financial systems, including treasury management systems (ideally FIS Quantum) and Bloomberg.
