We are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager for our clients, a Group of Hotels in Shannon, County Clare. Reporting to the Purchasing Director, you will manage end-to-end Purchasing’s Procure Wizard software and act as a focal point for other staff members in the group’s hotels regarding purchasing of products and services. You will be responsible for making recommendations and evaluating e-procurement options, along with working with stakeholders to evaluate the procurement options available, including the use of approved frameworks and identifying potential suppliers for the hotel group. This is a full-time position, based in Shannon, County Clare.
Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end procurement software.
* Act as the super-user for the procurement system.
* Act as the administrator and manage all configurations as well as troubleshooting.
* Prepare and present Purchasing Documents.
* Project manage the procurement process.
* Assist with tenders.
* Manage supplier management arrangements with external suppliers.
* Prepare and present reports.
Skills and Experiences:
* Degree holder in a related field.
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar position.
* Experience using e-procurement software such as Procure Wizard.
* MCIPS qualification is highly desirable.
Salary is based on experience and is in the region of €45 – €50,000.
