About the Role:
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll provide an effective and efficient payroll service. You’ll respond to requests, queries, and issues raised. You’ll work alongside your colleagues to support your Team Leader, drive quality service, and continuously look to improve the processes and service provided.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete and own weekly payroll processing for all employees.
2. Ensure data is received in the right format and in time to complete payrolls to agreed deadlines.
3. Ensure all payroll processes and procedures are accurately documented.
4. Maintain a working knowledge of current statutory and legislative compliance.
5. Handle complex payroll queries efficiently.
6. Provide and maintain regular data/statistics/reports.
7. Manage Pension & Union administration.
8. Administer BIK.
9. Process and administer Employee expenses.
10. Verify all Sub-contractor labour hours against fortnightly invoices.
11. Ensure company confidentiality and manage data under security policies.
12. Provide support and accurate information for UK payroll processes.
13. Assist with the rollout and management of TMS for payroll and time management purposes.
Candidate Requirements:
1. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
3. The ability to work as part of a team.
4. The ability to meet deadlines.
5. Excellent numeracy and computer skills.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Experience with Coins software is advantageous.
