Charles Hughes Ltd. (Portwest), a leading manufacturer of outdoor clothing and supplier of Portwest workwear, safety wear and PPE are now seeking applications for the position of Account Manager for the south east of Ireland. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,300 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 160 countries. Portwest design, manufacture and distribute market leading outdoor clothing and workwear, safety wear and PPE. Charles Hughes Ltd. is part of Portwest group and manages the Irish retail and distribution channels of Portwest supplying over 1000 customers in Ireland and employing 100 people in Ireland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Growing sales and exceeding sales targets
Account management
New business development
Visual merchandising and maintenance of product displays
Build new displays as required
Sales order processing
Troubleshoot any issues that arise
Provide general customer service, advice and support .
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Complete call reports and keep management informed of any issues as they arise.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Previous experience as a merchandiser and or in sales role is highly desirable
Ability to work on own initiative without supervision
Self starter with high energy and enthusiasm for what can be a physically demanding role.
Ability to set up product stands
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Good IT skills
Full, clean driving licence
