Job description
Ballinlough Refrigeration Ltd is a multi-franchise nationwide service and repair company specialising in Thermo King transport refrigeration, Dhollandia hydraulic tail lifts, and fleet maintenance for light commercial vehicles.
We have an immediate requirement for a Spare Parts Advisor in our Dublin facility at Kingswood, working directly with our home delivery workshop (Mercedes & Iveco parts)
A direct parts advising background or similar within a motor factor or dealership environment is desired.
Job Responsibilities
Assist inhouse mechanics in identifying and sourcing automotive parts and accessories
Provide expert advice on parts and related services
Placing orders with suppliers
Process parts orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely delivery
Maintain up to date knowledge of automotive parts inventory
Manage stock levels and ensure parts stored properly
collaborate with mechanics, technicians and other departments to ensure smooth operations
the ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service to the workshop while handling queries and resolving any parts related issues
maintain accurate records of transactions and parts
Qualifications
previous experience in an automotive parts advisor role or similar preferred
strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
excellent IT and communication skills
ability to work well in team environment
a genuine interest in the automotive industry
