Quality Assurance Engineer II, Visual and Immersive experiences

Key Job Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for testing entire projects across various platforms.
* You will own the development and execution of test plans and test cases for multiple features of an application.
* You will develop and maintain testing strategies, including manual and automation testing.
* You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
* You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans.
* You will promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and best practices.
* You will promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
* You will interact and collaborate with other development groups at Amazon Music and other organizations within Amazon.
A Day in the Life:
Daily activities consist of regression testing for releases, adding new automations for making the product more stable, and maintaining existing automation tests. You will develop test strategies for new feature launches and execute them, collaborating closely with developers.
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
* Experience in manual testing.
* Experience in automation testing.
* Experience scripting or coding.
* Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium.
* Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
