Senior Project Lead Consultant
The Senior Project Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope.
This individual will work closely with stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage resources effectively.
* Build, lead, and motivate cross-functional project teams.
* Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure accountability.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
* Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
* Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in project management.
* Prepare and present project reports and documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical engineering required; 7-10 years related experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
* Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment preferred.
* GMP and GDP experience desirable.
* Proven working experience as a Project Manager.
* Advanced MS Office skills.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent highly desirable.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
