IT Support Engineer (Night Shift - L2) (Full Time)

Our clients are predominantly business owners who need to ensure their day-to-day operations perform as they should. I.T, networks, systems, and cybersecurity are generally not something they have time to consider, and that is where we step in. We manage all of the I.T. requirements so that people don't have to worry about whether their data and systems are protected.
We are looking to hire a full-time IT Support Engineer to join our team on-site in either our Dublin, Cork, or Galway offices. This role involves specific night shift work including weekends. It may occasionally involve a number of day shifts (including initial training); therefore, a flexible approach is desirable.
The Role: IT Support Engineer (Night Shift - L2).
Location: Dublin, Cork or Galway (On-site).
Responsibilities:
* Provision of dedicated IT support to our customers.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issues across a variety of hardware and systems, escalating to a senior engineer or vendor support when appropriate.
* Deliver support on issues of varying complexity across the various sites.
* Set up and maintenance of new users within the client sites.
* Partner with the Account Manager to identify improvement projects and ensure the provision of outstanding service.
* Understand all compliance requirements on the different customer sites.
* Be cognizant of operational security, identifying changes to reduce risk.
* As the customer's first point of contact with Nostra, you must be customer-focused, enthusiastic, ambitious, and solution-focused.
* Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Required:
* 3+ years’ experience as an IT Engineer or IT Field Engineer, with proven experience within a Microsoft environment.
* Considerable experience with Windows Server Administration, Firewalls, and Networking.
* IT skills related to Microsoft technologies (e.g., Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, switches, access points including VLANs and VPN).
* Azure knowledge is a bonus.
* Good English with excellent communication skills.
