Job Description
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess a 3rd Level Degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they should have advanced computer skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, and knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* Evolving best practices for operations and maintenance of Utility systems.
* Managing all contract works and 3rd party assessments, including review of RAMS and safety plans.
* Handling Work Permits and liaising with the Engineering Administrator to ensure compliance with site safety policies.
* Upkeeping and upskilling training of all technicians.
Utilities Management:
* Sound working knowledge of key utilities such as water treatment, compressed air, HVAC, Boilers, and Power Distribution.
* Leading technician teams to ensure uninterrupted delivery of utilities for plant and process.
* Coordinating and maintaining current operations and maintenance programs.
* Handling contractors and reviewing their onsite practices.
Facility Maintenance:
* Coordinating and handling 3rd party onsite Cleaning Contract.
* Coordinating and handling all building maintenance works on-site with relevant contractors.
* Participating in projects for upgrading buildings and facilities.
* Compiling and documenting statutory and regulatory compliance programs.
Engineering Task Lead:
* Leading the utilities technician team in day-to-day functions.
* Assisting the team in troubleshooting and corrective action plans.
* Coordinating with other department managers to schedule work and ensure breakdowns are addressed promptly.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical/GMP environment.
* Utilities Supervisory GMP skills.
