Internal Salesperson – Fermoy
PE Global are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Person for our client. Our client is a leading timber processor in Ireland & the UK, with a strong growth story. As our client prepares for continued growth and investment in Ireland and the UK, they are now expanding its sales team to appoint an Internal Salesperson based at our Fermoy facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Account Management/Repeat selling over the phone to an established customer base.
2. Working closely with the sales team to achieve agreed targets.
3. Knowledge of working with an ERP system for order processing would be an advantage but not essential.
4. Record all relevant market information into CRM.
5. Co-ordinate sales requirements with the production department.
6. Resolving customer queries and issues.
7. General day to day office administration.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, are achievement orientated, and thrive on a challenge. A third level qualification and/or a minimum of 3- 5 years sales experience, would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have:
8. Enjoys working in an office environment and interacting with customers over the phone regularly.
9. Enthusiasm, energy, a desire to sell, and a desire to develop their long-term career.
10. The ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment.
11. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
12. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
13. Excellent attention to detail.
14. The flexibility to travel to different plants as required.
