About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at Trim Castle Hotel.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the front office team to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor the front office team to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service.
* Ensure staff follow procedures during shifts and delegate tasks to receptionists.
* Develop, motivate, and carry out reviews and appraisals of front office staff.
* Understand and carry out reservation procedures to company standards and liaise with reservations regarding book-outs and no-shows.
* Report comments, complaints, and compliments to senior management.
* Analyse departmental costs and perform varied shifts to ensure maximum coverage.
* Conduct monthly departmental meetings to review procedures and events.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or environment.
* A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when dealing with staff and guests.
* Accurate and efficient cash handling skills.
* Strong management skills.
