We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for our client, a food services industry leader. We are looking for a manager with a pro-active approach to all aspects of the HR department, with a working knowledge of employment law and the hospitality industry.
Title: Human Resource Manager
Location: Limerick
Salary: €50-55k
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day HR services in an effective and efficient manner.
* Assist in all activities concerning the sourcing & recruitment of staff, performance management, staff discipline, and HR administration.
* Work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive business performance.
* Provide coaching and expertise on a range of complex, people-sensitive related issues.
* Lead workforce planning for the business by carrying out detailed gap analysis and executing effective plans to meet the current and future needs of the business including recruitment and retention.
* Develop succession plans, working with site management to identify high potentials to ensure a strong leadership pipeline with leaders who have the knowledge and skills.
* Implement corporate policies and procedures on compensation, incentive, bonus, and benefits.
* Assist in the administration of the company social and staff benefit programs, e.g., Employee of the Month, Leader of the Month, and other staff incentives.
* Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing employee activities and events, including monthly staff meetings, wellness fairs, community projects, etc.
* Oversee the effective management and resolution of all employee relations issues, in accordance with employment legislation, company policies, and best practices.
* Provide accurate HR advice and support to management and staff in relation to all aspects of employment relations.
Ideal Candidate:
* A degree or master's in HR or related discipline.
* Minimum 2-3 years in a senior role as a HR Manager.
* An excellent practical knowledge of Irish employment legislation, policies, and procedures in line with recommended codes of practice.
* A passion for helping people by coaching, mentoring, and supporting the business units and management teams.
* Organised, innovative, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the Irish hospitality industry is an advantage.
