Overview Our client, a well known Irish PLC, is looking to add a Financial Accountant to their Finance team in Kildare.
This role will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and will be assigned the responsibility and accountability for a portfolio of entities in the group.
The position will support and participate in the monthly, half year and annual consolidation and statutory reporting processes and offer exposure across the entire finance function.

Key Responsibilities and Duties Ownership of a portfolio of entities within the group including responsibility for completion of all month end functions in the preparation of accurate and timely management reports Support the group reporting processes Coordinate and participate in the drafting of the single entity financial statements Participate in half year and year end reporting including financial statement preparation Liaise with the groups internal and external auditors Assist in the preparation of the annual report, the coordination and response to internal audit reviews and the maintenance and update of the risk register Support the annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes Partner with departments across the business, provide informative analysis on margin, overhead and capex variances Review and enhance processes to streamline financial reporting and improve controls Provide input into Finance related projects, as required Requirements Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) Big 4/Top 10 trained Experience in industry is a bonus Ability to work across several workstreams and meet strict deadlines Self-motivated and solution driven Skills: Accounts Audit Benefits: Performance Bonus health Pension Fund Gym
