Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the investments and funds industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years working within the investments/funds sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements to address key business needs.
2. Conduct user journey mapping to support system design.
3. Develop prototypes, including wireframes, UI mockups, and storyboards.
4. Design, assess, and review the impact of changes on operational models.
5. Present complex solutions and analytical findings in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Lead workshops and manage requirements documentation.
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
1. Extensive experience with investment platforms such as Aladdin, SimCorps, Finastra, Allvue, Hamilton Lane, LemonEdge, and FIS.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical and business concepts.
4. Ability to influence stakeholders and operate autonomously.
5. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
6. Knowledge of SQL, relational data modeling, database technology, data visualization, and data analytics.
7. Basic understanding of web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
8. Financial acumen and understanding of financial products.
9. Experience in portfolio management system deployments/migrations.
10. Knowledge of data governance and data analytics.
11. Familiarity with managed service operating models in the investment industry.
12. Understanding of emerging trends such as machine learning and AI basics.
