Job Description:
The EUC (End User Computing) Workplace Manager will lead the end user computing team in overseeing and managing all aspects of the organisation's end-user technologies and services.
This role will be responsible for driving the strategy, engineering, and operations for various technologies, including Microsoft Windows Endpoints, the Microsoft 365 productivity suite, Unified Communications, Messaging and Collaboration, Remote Desktop Technologies, and End User Device Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop the operating plan and associated budget for the end user computing and Microsoft 365 environment
* Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of desktop, laptop, and other endpoint technologies in a distributed environment
* Work with Managed Service Providers to ensure that software distribution, patch management, and other service issues are resolved in line with service level agreements
* Oversee the management and performance of the company's unified communications and collaboration services ensuring availability, reliability, and security of the service
* Ensure all incidents and service requests relating to end user computing, messaging, and communication services are resolved in line with service level agreements
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 10 years experience working with all aspects of End User Computing services, with 5+ years experience in 3rd party supplier management and service level management
* 3+ years experience in leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team
* ITIL Service management certification v3+ or equivalent experience
