Overview
The supply chain team comprises sourcing, planning, warehouse, and procurement. As the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager, you will oversee the entire supply chain operations, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery reliability.
* Supply Chain Management: Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain processes including demand planning, procurement, transportation, and inventory control.
* Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to balance carrying costs with production requirements.
* Supplier & Vendor Management: Continuously assess supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
* Cost Optimization & Risk Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, supplier consolidation, and negotiations.
Team Leadership:
* Manage and lead the procurement and supply chain team, providing mentorship and training.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
* At least 5 years' experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Skills:
* Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
* Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
