This is a pivotal role in the organisation reporting directly to the CFO of the business with a focus on driving financial excellence, streamlining processes and supporting the growth of the company.Our client has a long history of delivering for its customers and they have developed their product range significantly in the last number of years. As a leader in the finance team, you will be responsible for leading a high performing team across the group. The ideal person will possess technical expertise, commercial acumen, a continuous improvement mindset along with accomplished communication and interpersonal skills.ABOUT THE ROLE:Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across group locations, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Oversee group financial reporting, statutory compliance, external audits, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.Deliver timely financial and operational analysis, including detailed variance reporting, to support strategic decision-making.Strengthen internal controls, governance, and tax compliance across jurisdictions, including corporation tax, VAT, and regulatory filings.Drive process improvements through financial automation, standardisation, and participation in groupwide operational excellence initiatives.Lead key finance projects such as acquisitions, integrations, and strategic transformation initiatives.Support treasury operations, local banking relationships, and the preparation of annual budgets.“Our people are our biggest asset, especially as the business is continuously growing and adapting to an ever changing world.
