OverviewThe Field Service Technician will be responsible for servicing and installing agricultural systems on farms throughout Ireland.
You will be self-motivated and responsible for organizing & prioritizing your workload with a willingness to travel within the South of the country.
There will be a huge focus on quality and customer service as well as the other responsibilities, duties, and benefits that come hand in hand with representing our client and its products.
Experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided.
QualificationsLevel 6 Diploma or relevant technical certification/trade in a mechanical, electrical, or related field desirableA full, clean driving license is essential for this roleField and service work in the agricultural industryExcellent technical and mechanical knowledgeProblem solver that is solutions-drivenAttention to detail is key for this roleAbility to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedulesStrong technical troubleshooting skills are essential for the roleGood communication, fluent in English demonstrated by excellent verbal, written, and IT skillsConfident and commercially awareAgricultural knowledge and background is desired (Dairy sector preferable)ResponsibilitiesInstallation & service of agricultural equipmentEnsure machine installations are carried out to the highest standardProvide excellent customer support through our client's on-call service with the service teamIdentify and troubleshoot issues on site in a timely and effective mannerPlan and schedule farm installationsOrganize and manage the servicing of machinesTroubleshoot and diagnose technical issues both on site and over the phoneCooperate with the technical team and share information across the organizationBuild a good relationship with new and active customersIdentify and react to customer needs and give feedback on customer requirementsEnsure installations and service records are kept and updated on the CRM systemManage inventory of spares and consumablesEnsure strict adherence to all health and safety rules & procedures
