DescriptionWe're thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Training Coordinator at our Ballybay, Monaghan location!In this role, you will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to oversee the coordination, training, and development of an outstanding site-wide training plan that aligns with both our group and site training strategies.Responsibilities: Oversee the integrated training process across all functions on site. Maintain an up-to-date training matrix for all business units, ensuring coverage for both direct and indirect employees. Keep comprehensive training files for all direct and indirect employees, ensuring easy access and organization. Collaborate with Frontline Managers and Departmental Trainers to review and update the integrated standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all site tasks. Conduct thorough reviews and updates of training validation and verification documents (VERs and MCs). Plan and schedule both new internal and external training opportunities for each department, as well as necessary refresher training based on set expiry dates. Work closely with site senior management to assess training needs at the site level, utilizing insights from individual development plans. Develop and roll out procedures, knowledge resources, and job aids to evaluate and support the effectiveness of performance improvement, learning, and development initiatives. Facilitate employee inductions, contractor orientations, temporary agency training sessions, and other in-house instructional programs. Deliver specialized training such as Knife Safety, Manual Handling, and other tailored internal training sessions and assessments as needed. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all training initiatives, including in-house programs and external courses. Strategically collaborate with various functions such as production, technical, engineering, and health and safety to uncover training opportunities that boost operational performance. Conduct thorough training needs analyses within departments to pinpoint skills or knowledge gaps.
