Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the company’s operations. This role will require strong technical expertise, excellent leadership abilities, and the capacity to drive change and influence teams effectively. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of complex projects, managing mechanical contractors, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Team Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
3. Project Oversight: Work closely with project teams, mechanical contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
4. Change Management: Drive and manage change processes to improve operational efficiency and adapt to evolving client needs.
5. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize performance.
7. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations meet health and safety regulations and best practices.
Key Requirements
1. Technical Expertise: Proven technical credibility in process engineering, mechanical systems, or a related field.
2. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent influencing and decision-making capabilities.
3. Industry Experience: Significant experience working with mechanical contractors and delivering complex engineering projects.
4. Change Management: A strong understanding of change processes and the ability to implement them effectively.
5. Educational Background: Degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
6. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
