Overview of Role:
The Housing Officer will be responsible for the sourcing, maintenance, and allocation of Company housing and commercial properties and related utilities. The successful candidate will have experience interpreting and understanding lease agreements within the Republic of Ireland, along with the capability to ensure the best use of resources in adherence to Company policies and guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing of required housing and commercial properties from external providers to ensure the Company’s accommodation requirements are met.
2. Ensure all Lease Agreements are reviewed, approved, and adhered to.
3. Allocation of resources to housing as per Company policies and guidelines.
4. Administration of databases, input of data, and collation of records.
5. Ensuring connection and disconnection of utilities, management and recording of bills, and reporting.
6. Management of maintenance of all housing, i.e., contact for any issues and communication to relevant external providers.
7. Monitor and report utility usage.
8. Inspection of properties.
9. Initial contact for any reported issues internal and external.
10. Prepare communications, such as emails, reports, and other correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
11. Additional administration duties or ad hoc projects as they arise.
Essential Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years’ experience providing administrative support in a similar role.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
4. Strong time management and organisational skills.
5. Willingness to collaborate with others to solve problems in a fast-moving environment.
6. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
7. An understanding of the Portuguese language would be an advantage, but not essential.
8. Full driving licence.
