Summary: Join a world-renowned organisation at their Galway hub as a Senior Financial Accountant with a high-performing Finance team. You will have full responsibility for four major entities, completing monthly accounts and end-of-year financial statements in line with US GAAP and FRS 102.
About this job: As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will have full responsibility for four major entities. You will complete monthly financial reporting, income statement, balance sheet preparation, and reconciliations along with associated financial analysis. You will also develop your forecasting skills with monthly cashflow forecasting required for your entities. You will have autonomy to build upon processes through identifying areas for improvement and implementing ways of working that benefit you, your team, and the organisation.
About the company: The employer is a medical device sector company that has continued to innovate to become a global player in its field. They have confidence in Galway with ongoing expansion of their site, making the company a mainstay of the West of Ireland. As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will work with the Senior Finance Manager as part of a broader 28 person Finance team in a collaborative manner delivering high quality work over a 4.5 day working week.
Requirements: To become the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be Big 4 qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years industry PQE including experience preparing statutory accounts for large entities.
What to expect: Our client offers a comprehensive, well-rounded remuneration package of between €70,000-€80,000 including base salary, annual bonus based on company and personal performance, up to 8% company pension contributions, a 4.5 day working week with a half day on Fridays to allow you balance your work and life goals.
