About Your New Job
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initial planning to final handover. You will ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Leading multidisciplinary teams, you will drive project success through effective leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Scheduling - Developing detailed project timelines, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts.
2. Team & Contractor Management - Coordinating with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Health & Safety Oversight - Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
4. Budget & Cost Control - Managing project finances, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
5. Schools Senior Liaison & Client Liaison - Serving as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication.
6. Risk Management & Problem-Solving - Identifying potential risks, resolving project challenges, and implementing contingency plans as needed.
7. Quality Assurance & Compliance - Ensuring all work meets regulatory standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
What Skills & Requirements You Need
1. Experience - 5+ years of project management experience in the residential, civil construction or main contracting industry.
2. Qualifications - Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A PMP or other project management certification is an advantage.
3. Knowledge - Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and contract management.
4. Skills - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in project & people management.
