We are recruiting for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients finance team.
This is a full time, permanent position based in Co Laois.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with Sage and possess strong Excel skills.
This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, processing transactions, and supporting the finance function within the business.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements.
Generate financial reports using Sage and Excel.
Handle general finance administration tasks as needed.
Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software is essential.
Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Education: Accounting, Finance, or Business-related qualification preferred but not essential.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.
