ROLE: Netsuite Finance System Consultant – 6 month (day rate contract)
REPORTING TO: Head of Financial Reporting & Head of IT
CLIENT LOCATION: Cork
Barden are delighted to partner with a leading multinational organisation to hire a Netsuite Finance System Consultant who will sit within their Finance function for a 6 month contract position. It will operate on a hybrid basis, ideally with minimum 4-days per month on site (more depending on your location), in our client offices located in Cork, Ireland.
The ideal person will play a key role in supporting our client’s NetSuite development program, focusing on maintenance, configuration, and optimization.
Our client is particularly interested in engaging an independent consultant who can drive the successful delivery of this program.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This dynamic role offers the successful candidate a chance to gain valuable experience in NetSuite development within a growing multinational company. As a NetSuite Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a variety of development solutions to support the finance team’s evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of NetSuite and NetSuite 3rd party integrations in compliance with SOX.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective test strategies.
* Ensure deployments are fit for purpose using sandbox systems for comprehensive scenario testing.
* Develop and maintain workflows, amend in line with customer requests.
* First point of call for dealing with support queries from Finance users located across Europe.
* Support end user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
* Working with customers to confirm the scope, goals and objectives to deliver key objectives of the company.
* Leading and overseeing the progress of the project plan, in-line with time, cost and quality.
* Managing customer expectations, to closely monitor and manage the scope of the project.
* Controlling and reporting progress to project owner.

Ideal Experience/Qualifications Include:
* 6+ years’ experience developing and delivering client-focused NetSuite solutions.
* Managing NetSuite related projects from inception to hyper care.
* Proven experience with NetSuite ERP - design, configuration, and development.
* Proven experience in implementing NetSuite across multiple areas including – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and General Ledger.
Specific Skills Include:
* Fluency in English essential – both written and oral.
* Strong time management and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload and multitask several activities at the same time.
* Very good command of MS Office, in particular strong Excel and Word skills.
Travel
