The Identity engineering team builds and manages online identity providers for a variety of services and platforms including Azure, Office, Xbox, and HoloLens. We boldly pursue big ideas that power transformational advances in online security and user management. Our work spans both the consumer and enterprise space and can be found in internet-scale online services, the Windows operating system, and most phones and handheld devices. Identity engineering employees have deep technical expertise, customer insights, and a clear point of view that comes from first-hand, very large-scale experience. Essential Skills
1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
2. Fluency with C# or other object-oriented programming languages with 5+ years of hands-on software design and development experience
3. Experience in large scale (10,000+ RPS) web service development: Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance in production
4. Experience debugging issues in production and legacy/poorly understood web services
5. Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
6. Large systems software design and development experience
7. Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
