About the Job
To meet the growing demand for AWS cloud computing capacity in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), we are currently seeking an Commissioning Project Engineer (CxPE) to serve as support to our Commissioning Engineers (CxE).
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the creation of projects within internal Amazon systems.
* Manage administrative tasks related to the commissioning process.
* Support the Request for Quote process, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the commissioning vendors to provide a detailed quote.
* Manage vendor project deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery for the CxE's review.
* Manage project resourcing, ensuring all vendors comply with the Lead Qualification Process (LQP).
* Create and manage approval of Change Management requests for the commissioning activities of assigned projects.
Career Progression
You will learn the commissioning process by shadowing project lead commissioning engineers. This on-the-job training will focus on both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
You will spend time with each discipline, learning all aspects of critical systems. You will also develop and execute testing scripts for validating systems.
Throughout the process, you will undergo an internal Cx qualification review. Once lead Cx engineers are satisfied you have the required knowledge, they will reverse shadow you on a project as a final validation before you are allowed to lead a project.

Basic Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience directly related to mission-critical facilities or data centre infrastructure.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
* 1+ years of commissioning experience.
