Perform analysis on raw material, In-process tests, intermediates and finished product in line with Current Good Manufacturing PractisesAssist in the generation and maintenance of Quality procedures and reports.Facilitate laboratory investigations and support associated product investigation.Analyse using Potency/Bioassay testing, ELISA, blotting, PCR, flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, wet chemistry techniques and the use of analytical equipment including UV, HPLC and UV.Participate, and seek opportunities, in the areas of Right First Time, Continuous Improvement and 5S.Adhere to team scheduling and report any aberrant delays or issues to team leads.Complete various assignments based on established procedures, identify delivery and process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and provide direction and training to team members.Share knowledge within and across multiple work groups.Work under general supervision, independently complete recurring assignments, and refer new or unusual problems to the team lead.Ensure non-standard work is reviewed for sound technical judgment and hold oneself accountable to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, potentially training others.Notify responsible persons of deviations or needed change control to ensure compliance, and meticulously follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and written test procedures.Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)Third level Qualification in Science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred though not essential.1-2 years experience working in a GMP laboratoryStrong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Excellent math skills and attention to detailDemonstrate proven experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV, ELISA, blotting, PCR, flow cytometryStrong knowledge of analytical techniques both theoretical and practicalExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDetail oriented, quick at decision making, self-motivated with good trouble shooting and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in computer applications and software including but not limited to Empower, LIMS, Softmax, eQMS, Microsoft Office etc.High-level technical writing and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsPositive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environmentBonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)Strong understanding of Core Laboratory Information Management SystemsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a structured environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to train and mentor less-experienced colleagues Additional Information In order to be considered for this position in Ireland you need to be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
