Automation Engineer
Realta Technologies are currently working with a major Pharmaceutical client seeking an Automation Engineer with Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal experience to support the site with a Historian roll out.
We require an Automation Engineer to work on the automation connectivity phase of a site-wide historian roll out project in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead automation projects from concept to production, defining requirements and specifications, developing and deploying automation projects into client sites.
* Develop automation requirements and specifications, update PLC system IP address and troubleshoot connection issues, conduct equipment control system connectivity assessments.
* Manage automation suppliers through all phases of projects, draft qualification protocols and support equipment qualification activities.
* Ensure compliance with client procedures, cGMP, recognized quality standards and regulatory expectations.
* Develop, debug and validate Control System software programs, analyze, understand, fault-find and modify automation software.
Requirements:
* Experience in manufacturing, automation, IT-Systems, strong PLC background in Siemens S7.
* Accustomed to working in a validated environment with strong discipline with regard to change management.
* Good organizational, planning and prioritization skills, good oral and written communication skills.
* Education Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
* Experience with Siemens Step 7 Simatic Manager and TIA Portal.
