Who should apply?
Candidates should be qualified accountants with prior experience in Deal Advisory/M&A from a Big 4, large or boutique corporate finance house, or leading advisory firms with the following:
* First-rate track record of academic achievements
* Ability to interpret financial results and present it to senior management concisely
* Strong excel skills and the ability to understand and manipulate financial models
* Expertise in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and transaction execution
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-performing environment
* Proven track record of deal origination and execution
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting directly to the decision makers in the firm, duties will include:
* Designing M&A strategy and application
* Lead and support end-to-end M&A transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and client presentations
* Performing and reviewing detailed due diligence
* Reviewing business plans, projections, strategies with accompanying historic financial statements
* Interpreting and understanding financial models to inform key strategic decisions
* Preparing decision-making papers for presentation to key internal and external stakeholders
* Support team development, and new business development/origination
* Playing a key role in post-acquisition integration plans
* Performing valuations, assessing deal benefits, planning for integration, and streamlining deal closing
* Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of the various lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
* Develop deep client relationships and play a pivotal role in business development efforts as the EMEA offering gains momentum
