Are you an enthusiastic Staff Grade Psychologist looking for a new role in Mental Health?
We are currently seeking Psychologist applicants with a postgraduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychology for an exciting role based in Dublin.
Our client provides a range of services to adults enduring mental health needs such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementia, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.
Hours of work per week: 37 hours

Maternity Cover (6 to 9 months)
Essential Requirements :
A recognised third-level degree or diploma (equivalent to QQI Level 8) awarded with first- or second-class honours, where psychology was a major subject and honours were achieved in that subject, accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
A recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent qualification approved by the Department of Health.
At least one year of satisfactory postgraduate experience in professional psychology.
Applicants must provide evidence of having completed at least 60 days (or an equivalent duration) of supervised clinical placements in appropriate health settings (e.g., Adult Mental Health or Psychiatry of Later Life) as part of their professional qualification, or an equivalent 60 days of supervised post-qualification work experience as a psychologist in adult mental health.
Desirable Demonstrated experience in post-qualification roles within adult mental health or psychiatry of later life.
Proven experience working within a mental health rehabilitation framework or setting.
Formal training in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT).
Specialised training or expertise in at least one additional therapeutic modality (e.g., family therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, schema therapy, emotion-focused therapy, compassion-focused therapy, or psychodynamic psychotherapy).
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in health, safety, and other statutory regulations relevant to healthcare organisations.
Strong proficiency in verbal and non-verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, visitors, colleagues, management teams, and board members.
Practical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
